(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 9 year old son for Christmas. I researched many scooters and found this one to be what I thought was the best. It would bear the most weight, had excellent wheels and easy to fold and tuck away. He broke the brake the second time he rode it. It was broken beyond repair as it just snapped off. Now I had warned him about the brake ahead of time, knowing this was the scooters one weak point. He knew not to push on it too hard or slam his foot on it. He was very disappointed and has not ridden it since. I am sure he could stop it with is foot on the the wheel gentlely or by just stepping down/dragging his foot on the ground if he was going fast. Disappointed is an understatement, especially after all the research I did before purchasing it.
