(More customer reviews)Was not sure what to get my 14 year old for his birthday; he had expressed interest in a plastic 50 dollar skateboard ramp at a local sports store but it just appeared to be a bigger version of the cheap 30 dollar ramp that fell apart last year. I investigated this item and decided to go for quality in spite of the cost. I do not regret this. He has basic to moderate skateboarding skills and is intimidated at the thought of skating with the older boys (pros) at the local skatepark. Since he started playing on this item his skills have improved dramatically and his friends love it as well. The previous reviews had indicated that it is very noisy. That is correct , but before I know it he will be gone and I will long for the noise....
