(More customer reviews)This was to replace an older model of the same brand, whose fan had worn out after more than five years. I contacted the supplier about a noise the fan was making when the new unit arrived, and they paid for postage back and quickly shipped a replacement. This seems to work great, just like my older model. The new design incorporates a timer, which automatically shuts the unit off after 24hours or less. Hopefully this will prolong the life of the fan motor, which is clearly the achilles heel of the product.
Overall, I love the product, which fits inside my ski boots for travel. This protects the dryer in transit, as other models I've had in the past have been damaged while rattling around in luggage, or worse yet in a ski bag. The dryer typically needs only an hour or two to completely dry my boots, which makes them much more comfortable, and better smelling than they would otherwise be.
