Until I got this brace I couldn't ollie or do any tricks without pain afterward. Great support, protection, and you still have full mobility. I tried wraps and 2 other braces to no avial. (More customer reviews)I've been using Superfeet for a couple months now and I have to say that they are very comfortable. I put a pair of these in my Vapor X:30s and they feel fantastic. My feet never feel any kind of pains or anything after being on the ice for a game or lengthy period of time. This footbed is a must for any of the mid to lower end skates.

Sport Mate Hockey Skate Gel Insoles Review

(More customer reviews)As a roller derby chick, you learn to deal with pain and discomfort on a daily basis. But when that discomfort affects the quality of your game play, it's time to take action. I love custom built Riedells, they fit my feet like well made socks. The titanium plate is lightweight and solid and the wheels are the best on the market. They are roller derby machines. However, I found that the soles of my skates were very solid, and not forgiving of the hard core pushing I would be doing. By the end of a two-hour practice, the balls of my feet would ache terribly.
So, I followed a friend's advice and researched some gel inserts to help cushion my poor tootsies from the daily abuse I was giving them. I decided to go with the Sport Mate Hockey Skate Gel Insoles since they were made specifically for skating and not just walking around and telling people that you are "gellin' like a fellon." Once I trimmed the soles and got them fitting into my skate I went off to practice. It was a WORLD of difference. My tootsies haven't been this happy since the trip to the geisha palace (but that's another story)!
So, if you find that a night of balls-to-the-wall skating is leaving your feet sore and tired, try the Sport Mate Hokey Skate Gel Insoles. I, for one, am very happy I did.
