(More customer reviews)Black Diamond clear grip tape has been my go-to grip tape for a long time. Unfortunately, with this recent order I have to say that I will be moving on to another brand. The main problem I have with the grip tape is that many tiny holes have been put into the grip tape. Grip tape sometimes has perforations in it to prevent air bubbles. Unfortunately, the perforations on this grip tape are crude and ineffective. I've attached some customer images to this product to show what I mean. My skateboard looks like a plucked chicken now, and the holes are actually preventing the grip tape from sticking to the board. The problem is the perforation machine poked holes instead of punched holes. If the holes had been punched, there wouldn't be the puckered part raised up on the sticky side of the grip tape. I'm disappointed in this grip tape, and until they cease perforating their grip tape, I will not be buying any more Black Diamond grip tape. This is sad for me, as, like I said, I've been using Black Diamond grip tape for years. I had such confidence in this product I bought 6 sheets. Now I'll essentially be throwing away 5 sheets of useless grip tape and waiting for the one sheet I applied to continue peeling off my skateboard. Shouldn't be but a few more days until I'm pulling the perforated Black Diamond grip tape off and putting new grip tape on from another brand. Black Diamond and TGM Skateboards, please let me know if you go back to making the fine grip tape I'd been using before!
